Cancelling a request
You may cancel a one-time service request (such as a title or registration filing) at any time before we submit it to the agency. Contact us by phone or email with your order details.
Service fees
- If you cancel before we begin work, we refund the service fee in full.
- If work has begun but nothing has been filed, we may retain a portion of the service fee for the time spent and refund the rest.
- Once a filing has been submitted, the service fee is non-refundable because the service has been performed.
- If we are unable to perform a service we agreed to, we refund the service fee for that service.
State and agency fees
Official State of Montana fees are paid to the State, not to us. Once submitted, they are generally non-refundable, and any refund is at the agency’s discretion. If we have not yet submitted a filing, we refund the State fees you advanced.
Registered agent and annual subscriptions
Registered agent service renews annually. You may cancel renewal at any time before the renewal date; we will not charge a renewal after we receive your cancellation. Cancelling does not change your LLC’s registered agent of record: to avoid administrative dissolution, appoint a new registered agent with the Secretary of State before our service ends. Unused portions of a paid term are not refunded unless we fail to provide the service.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days.
